On July 6 the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Nogaideli visited Imereti Region.
Zurab Nogaideli first toured the construction of the secondary school at Sviri Village where 550 pupils will get education from September. Later the Prime Minister went to Samtredia where he checked on the newly finished shore protection works, as well as the church under construction and the rehabilitation works of the Secondary School #11 in the city.
In Tskaltubo the Prime Minister checked on the rehabilitation process of Public School #1.
While visiting the Region Zurab Nogaideli also familiarized with major overhaul of the road in Kutaisi City, as well as external lighting, partial rehabilitation of School #32 and the progress of construction works of the sports complex performed on Akhalgazrdoba Avenue.
At the end of the visit the Georgian Prime Minister attended presentation of the projects to be implemented in Imereti Region in 2006.
