The Meeting of the Government of Georgia was held on 8 October 2008. The agenda consisted of 25 items.
Before the commencement of the Meeting, Prime Minister Vladimer Gurgenidze advised those present that the work with the partners, donors will be completed this week to identify the needs, to which to direct their aid. "The donors under the aegis of World Bank, various organizations and government members have worked hard and I'd like to express my appreciations for that. The ultimate result will become known at the Brussels Conference in 22 October, though at the end of this week we can have quite a clear picture of the basic needs for the aid that we are expecting. We'll provide the public with the final figures, as the process ends. It is worth mentioning that the figures should be quite high," the Prime Minister said.
