On September 19, 2007 was held the Meeting of the Government of Georgia. The agenda consisted of 51 items.

Upon beginning of the Meeting the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli congratulated the society of the country once more with a new school year. He highlighted the fact of construction of new schools and high-quality repair of old public schools (up to 400). The Prime Minister of Georgia noted that for next year is planned about 500 schools and expressed belief that the quality of repair operations will be improved. For this purpose, within the process of drafting the state budget for 2008 all details will be taken consideration that the schools shall meet the academic year 2008-2009 more prepared. The Prime Minister of Georgia also stated that in some schools the academic process had not begun yet because of the lasting repair operations subject to the control of the Ministry of Education and Science.
