On May 16, 2007 was held the Meeting of the Government of Georgia. The agenda consisted of 35 items.
Upon beginning of the Meeting the Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli stated that one of the main items to be discussed by the Government is the bill On Making Amendments to the Law of Georgia On the State Budget of Georgia for 2007. He said that the completion of consideration on this bill is appointed on May 18 Meeting. He ordered the finance minister of Georgia Alexi Alexishvili to inform the society about the main parameters of the amendments to be made in the state budget according to the results of the today consideration and to provide the detailed information to the representatives of the printing and electronic media. The Prime Minister of Georgia also noted that based on these parameters which have been established for a long time already the use of extra financial resources for implementation of the set programs is in progress
