Government of Georgia – Government Meetings 2006 Year

Meeting of the 8 March 2006

Prime Minister of Georgia Zurab Noghaideli started the Meeting of the Government of Georgia of 8 March 2006 by congratulating on Women's Day.
The Government Meeting discussed 20 items of the Agenda.

At the traditional briefing held after the Government Meeting, Minister of Agriculture of Georgia Mikheil Svimonishvili said that the situation related to bird flue was stable and that all the measures had been taken.

The liquidation works in Khelvachauri Region had actually been completed. By the end of the week, the Government would appeal to the President and the President - to the parliament for canceling the state of emergency in Khelvachauri Region.
