On 5 September 2009, Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi hosted the Government's Report to People Initiative. The Ministers presented to the public the results of the work as well as the future plans of the Ministries.
The pavilions of the Ministries set up in Rustaveli Avenue was toured by Prime Minister Nika Gilauri of Georgia. As the Prime Minister stated, the core goal of the initiative is to meet the interests of people.
"Today, we have decided to introduce the novelty to deliver our report to people in such form. Georgian people should be aware of what the Government is doing and get answers to their questions right from the Ministers and Deputy Ministers. People can come and see what this or that Minister is doing. If people like the initiative, we'll continue it in the future and may give it an annual character," the Prime Minister said.
