On October 20, 2010 the Prime Minister of Georgia Mr. Nika Gilauri opened the new building of the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance.
"The full infrastructural reorganization of the Ministry of Finance will be completed soon. As you have been informed the Ministry of Finance has many office buildings with bad working conditions and bad environment for representatives of private business.
In a few days we will open the Vake-Saburtalo service center, in a few months will be opened the Sarpi customs... In 6-8 months the infrastructural reorganization of the Ministry of Finance will be accomplished.
I'd like to congratulate the Ministry of Finance and representatives of private business. Our aim is to minimize the contacts of private sector representatives with the Revenue Department. All operations will be made through the Internet and PC and direct contacts will take place in the most comfortable environment based on the high-quality service.
The process of rehabilitation and construction of new buildings are aimed at the improvement of services and creation of comfortable conditions for the employees of the Ministry of Finance, - stated Nika Gilauri.
