The conference organized by IFC, World Bank and Georgian government was convened at Radisson Blue IveriaOn November 29, 2010, the conference organized by IFC, World Bank and Georgian government was convened at "Radisson Blue Iveria", which served to improve business environment in the region.

The conference was headed by Nika Gilauri, the Prime-Minister of Georgia. High-ranking officials of more than 30 countries participated in the conference under International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group Member, World Bank and Georgian Government. The reforms carried out with regard to business environment improvement in Georgia, Europe and other countries of Central Asia region were discussed at the conference. After the conference, Nika Gilauri, the Prime-Minister of Georgia, held the news conference.
Here's the premier's speech:

"Firstly, I'd like to thank World Bank for convening the conference. Such conference was held in the region for the first time. This year World Bank nominated Georgia as world's number one reformer. The project is being carried out for several years. Georgia held 112 position 5-6 years ago. As of this year, Georgia holds 12th position that means how easy it's doing business in Georgia. According to this rating, Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, Great Britain ... occupy the leading position; The conference organized by IFC, World Bank and Georgian government was convened at Radisson Blue Iveria

As for Georgia it's holding 12th position. Georgia was nominated as world's number one reformer all over the world as well. The survey was carried out in more than 175 countries; and Georgia was named as world's number one reformer among the countries thereof. This is the reason for convening this conference in Georgia, where the representatives of the regional countries are invited. Vice Prime-Ministers, Ministers, Deputy Ministers have arrived in order to share the experience, to assess Georgia's activities during last 5 years, besides, we'll be aware of reforms enacted in the neighboring countries.
