Prior to beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister Nika Gilauri talked about natural disasters occurred in Georgia:

"I want to furnish the society with information on the natural disaster and problems which happened due to huge precipitations occurred during the last two days in regions. The main problem is in Racha - Shovi, the access road is washed away. There are onsite surveys implemented there. The works have started already.

Furthermore, the yesterday rain incurred a huge loss to Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti Regions. The arable lands are sunk and water penetrated into several houses. The water supply system is damaged, Several headworks are destroyed. In few days we'll inform the society on the actions to be carried out in Kakheti and Kvemo Kartli. I also want to say a few words about the items included into the agenda of the present-day Meeting of the Government. I mean a tender announced for creation of a new computer training program. I want to create a program which will enable pupils, little children studying in primary school to master computer skills, computer programs. Thus, we open a tender therefor. I urge all IT specialists to take part in this tender.

I want the society to pay attention to another issue as well. This is a healthcare reform.
As you know, several months ago we opened a new phase of this reform; conducted auctions, tender for construction of new hospitals in regions. Please be informed that Phase I of this Project has finished: the agreement with BORD has finished; all hospitals with no appropriate projects implemented there have been deprived; planning and design of new hospitals in the regions have finished.
