Prime Minister of Georgia visits socially unprotected family Print Version

The Prime Minister of Georgia visits socially unprotected family On February 10, 2011 The Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri visited a socially unprotected family residing at 70 Ketevan Tsamebuli Street. Apart from electric energy voucher of GEL 20 and bare necessities, Nika Gilauri handed out his own voucher to the pensioners, Inga Loria and Boris Berzets.

"During the last few months, prices have been raising for bare necessities and essential food products all over the world. Georgia is no exception. This inflation is felt strongly in Georgia. It is felt particularly strongly by families with less income. Several weeks ago we decided to help them with some kind of action. This is not a process against inflation; we would like to do our best to assist people with the problems arisen from increase of prices.

This is an event, according to which we will hand out electric energy vouchers of GEL 20 to all subscribers. One can transfer his/her own voucher to his/her relative, friend, or a person who is needier. Today, I received the voucher and transferred it to this family, which needs it much more and can use it much better," declared the Prime Minister of Georgia after visiting the socially unprotected family.
