On June 15, 2011, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Nika Gilauri, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Carl Bildt.
At the meeting, the two parties discussed the issues of economic nature.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden expressed his interest towards economic condition of Georgia. Nika Gilauri and Carl Bildt discussed the issues of tourism, agriculture, transit potential and development of energy field of Georgia as well.
The two parties also mentioned the ongoing negotiations with respect to free trade agreement between Georgia and the European Union.
