On September 13, the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, inaugurated a new house of justice, hotel of hostel type, a new 30 m bridge projected by German architect, I. Mayer, a new police 
building and 135 km road reducing journey from Zuugdidi to Mestia by six hours.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Justice, Zurab Adeishvili, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Vera Kobalia, the Minster of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Ramas Nikoleishvilli, representatives of legislative, executive and judicial governments, diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia and international organization. 
The house of justice inaugurated in Mestia includes wedding house, national bureau of enforcement, notary office, education center of justice, civil and public registries. 
After the inauguration ceremony, the President of Georgia met with representatives of local population.
As a result of modernization of the year 2015, at least a million and a half tourists shall visit Svaneti. The region will be loaded by tourists at every season of the year that will make additional income for local population. Hopelessness and poverty shall end in Svaneti - pointed out the President.
