"Good day. We are holding the first government meeting of the year 2012. I would like to repeat once again 2012 main priorities of our government and main goals of social-economic policy to the members of the government and the public. A social assistance package comes first. I mean pension package growth in social package. From September 1, 2012, a new law will take effect, according to which pension package of all pensioners above 67 will grow up to GEL 140. The pension package includes an insurance voucher and the sum. Apart from this, from September 1, all pensioners and all children form 0 including 5 years of age will be insured. This is one of the most important breakthroughs in healthcare field. Construction of hospitals will be continued. We opened 30 new hospitals in December of the last year. In January, less number of hospitals will be opened, although, in March-April-May, comparatively bigger hospitals will be opened - 70-100 bed regional hospitals in Telavi, Poti and other cities. In 2012, an important direction is education. Certification process and process of encouragement of certified teachers will be continued. Accordingly, budget of the Ministry of Education has been grown. Besides, in 2012, an important field will be agriculture. Budget of agriculture has been grown by about 30%. Private sector has significantly activated in the field of agriculture and this is important that we have already had positive results. I consider that agriculture will be one of our main priorities for the year 2012."
