The Prime Minister gets acquainted with registration process of unemployed peopleToday, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, along with the State Minister of Employment, Paata Trapaidze, and an employment agent, visited the Sukhishvilis, residing at Vazisubani Settlement, within the framework of a new Government Program on fighting against unemployment.

According to the Prime Minister, registration of unemployed people by employment agents has started today. Vano Merabishvili participated in the process of filling a registration form by unemployed members of the family. When talking to the members of the family, the Prime Minister pointed out that the purpose of the registration is to ascertain the people of which profession, age and geographic location have most troubles in finding jobs and to make special focus on their retraining. Apart from this, data on vacancies within the country will be placed in the abovementioned base.

According to the Prime Minister, as a result of registration of unemployed people and employers, a unified electronic database will be created, each member of which will have his/her own electronic address and get automatic notice in case if desired vacancy appears. As a result, the abovementioned base will become a certain bridge between an employer and a job seeker, which will support reduction of unemployment level in the country.
