Today the Prime Minister of Georgia Vano Merabishvili has given state awards to the medical staff who rendered emergency aid to the citizens injured as a result of chlorine leakage in Lilo Settlement on July 3, 2012.
For rendering prompt and high-skill medical aid to the citizens injured as a result of intoxication the Prime Minister awarded Orders of Honour to Toxicologist of Nikoloz Kipshidze Central University Clinic, Teimuraz Kobidze, and doctors of Catastrophe Medical Center, Nana Demuria and Ana Javashvili.
Besides, commendation medals and money awards were given to 59 employees of Tbilisi City Hall Emergency Aid Center, MADCARE Medical Center and Referral Assistance Center.
