Prime Minister of Georgia Vano Merabishvili visited village Kisiskhevi in Telavi district, where he discussed the issue of vineyards restoration activities destroyed by hail with Academicians of the Academy of 
Agricultural Sciences. Vano Merabishvili mentioned that due to his request members of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences will be involved more actively in development processes of a new governmental program.
Besides, according to the Prime Minister's statement, scientists will participate more actively in restoration of damaged vineyards and fruit gardens and will provide consultations to the affected peasants. Based on recommendations of the scientists, provision of fertilizers in vineyards and gardens will start soon and other planned activities for their restoration will be held systematically.
Those activities were discussed in details at the meeting, which have been held in Kakhetian villages aiming to survive the vine there and necessity of further steps joint planning was underlined.
