Prime Minister of Georgia Vano Merabishvili visited throughway construction works In Shida Kartli Print Version

Today, the Prime Minister of Georgia Vano Merabishvili and the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ramaz Nikolaishvili visited throughway construction works at Ruisi-Agara sector. The Prime Minister underlined that one of the priorities of the ne governmental politics - "More benefits to people" - is development of infrastructure of the country.

According to the statement of the Prime Minister, in the framework of the project 1500 will be employed, the big part of which will be the population of the nearby villages. Vano Merabishvili paid special attention to the quality of the new concrete revetment, which during the subsequent 32 years shall not need any repair. As the Prime Minister said, the indicated road will significantly diminish the travelling time and the costs, and on the other hand will raise travelers comfort and safety.
The Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili also talked about other current and planned infrastructural project, among them Kutaisi and Kobuleti bypasses and Tbilisi-Rustavi highway, the construction of which is planned for the nearest future.

Throughway construction works at Ruisi-Agara sector, coordinated by the Motor Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has being carried out by the Chinese Company.
