The Prime Minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, visits Marneuli food plant Print Version

Today, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, has visited Kvemo Kartli, where he came to see Marneuli food plant. The Prime Minister got acquainted with production process taking place at the plant and future development plans.

When talking to the Manager of the plant, the Prime Minister talked about improvement of quality of Georgian product and supporting export of surplus product, after covering the local market. Vano Merabishvili emphasized importance of delivering and processing of raw material by local population, which means even more employed people.

There are 300 people employed at Marneuli food plant. This year, the plant has received 20,000 tons of different kinds of raw material from local population, of which more than 20 kinds of products are produced.
