The Prime Minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, who visits Guria along with other members of the government, within the framework of a three-day visit, came to see Chkhartishvilis t Ozurgeti Village of Ozurgeti Region and got acquainted with the process of a Government Program of Free Vaccination of cattle. 

Government Program of Free Vaccination, which is being implemented within the framework of a new four-year government program More Profit to the People, is focused on prevention of cattle disease. According to Vano Merabishvili, the purpose of the abovementioned program is to minimize risk of dangerous disease of cattle such as Murrain and Anthrax by means of regular vaccination during the next three years.

According to the program, from August 1, vaccination of Murrain and from September 1, vaccination of Anthrax will start all over Georgia. For this purpose, 950 000 vaccines of French manufacturing against Murrain and 180 000 vaccines against Anthrax have been imported. 250 mobile groups have been created for implementation of vaccination that will carry out vaccination at 3,000 villages of 53 municipalities, within Georgia.
