The Prime Minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, inspected construction-rehabilitation works of water supply system in Surami Settlement. During the inspection, the Prime Minister pointed out that with its four-year action plan, the government has taken the commitment to settle water supply problem at all villages of Georgia.

The project, which is being implemented by United Water Supply Company includes construction of two reservoirs of drinking water of 1,000 cubic meters of capacity and renewing of inner network of water supply, using modern technologies, in Surami Settlement. The works will be finished in April of 2013, as a result of which Surami will get pure water during 24 hours a day. In this project, which is being implemented by European Investment Bank funding, up to 70 local people is employed.
