The Prime Minister Participates in vintageThe Prime Minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, visited Kardenakhi Village at Gurjaani Region, where he came to see the Apriashvilis and participated in vintage along with the family members.

Later, the Prime Minister, Vano Merabishvili, along with the head of the Apriashvilis, visited Gurjaani Kotekh winery and attended grapes distribution process. According to a representative of the winery, Kotekhi winery is capable to receive and process 150 tons of grapes per day. According to him, wineries of analogical capacity have been operated in Velistsikhe, Zegani and Gurjaani, due to which problem of grapes distribution and processing has been settled in Gurjaani Region. After distributing grapes, a Kardankhian peasant was given a voucher, which he converted into cash in a bank. The Prime Minister got personally acquainted with grapes distribution and voucher cash-out process.

As Kakheti has had a hard time this year and natural disasters have already inflicted loss to the region two times, according to the decision of the government of Georgia, sum of grapes covered by state voucher will be increasedThe Prime Minister Participates in vintage from 25 Tetris to 35 Tetris for black grapes and from 15 Tetris to 25 Tetris for white grapes as compared to the last year. Apart from this, 55 points will be opened to receive grapes in Kakheti Region, where one can deliver 1 kg of black grapes for GEL 1.00. The Prime Minister has also pointed out that companies will purchase damaged grapes as well, the price of which will start from 35 Tetris per kg.
