The Prime Minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, visited Gori, where he inspected works under way at the center of the city and discussed rehabilitation issue of Gori Fortress along with architects.
At first, the Prime Minister visited the center of Gori, rehabilitation of which is already coming to an end. Vano Merabishvili talked to local population and workers taking part in the rehabilitation process and expressed his satisfaction with quality of works fulfilled.
Later, Vano Merabishvili visited Gori Fortress along with architects, where he discussed rehabilitation issue of the fortress. The Prime Minister heard detailed plans about works which will start in the nearest future.
The Prime Minister emphasized that after finishing the rehabilitation of Gori Fortress the fortress will become a center of the city and a part of complex sights, which in the course of time will attract more and more tourists to the city and subsequently, create more jobs.
