Meeting of the Prime Minister with Philip GordonBidzina Ivanishvili met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Philip Gordon. At the meeting the sides positively assessed the parliamentary elections held in Georgia and expressed hope that building of democratic institutions would become more profound. U.S. Assistant Secretary of State congratulated Bidzina Ivanishvili on winning the elections and Bidzina Ivanishvili for his part thanked Philip Gordon on behalf of the Georgian people for the services performed.

At the meeting they also touched upon the topic of detention of the Georgian high-ranking officials and as the Prime Minister mentioned Georgian authoritiesMeeting of the Prime Minister with Philip Gordon shall debar selective law.

"During my visit to Europe I assured everyone that the process will be transparent and I promise you the same. Our authorities shall debar selective law" - declared Bidzina Ivanishvili.
