Global leader in commodities trading - the company "Trafigura Eurasia" is looking for reliable and effective route for delivery of Turkmen commodities to the Black Sea ports. Nowadays the company is using Makhachkala - Novorosiisk route for export.
Resulting from its strategic geographical location, Georgia represents object of interest for the company "Trafigura Eurasia" in order to become one of the export routes for Turkmen commodities. The positive solution of the given issue within the region may increase significantly transit capacities for the railways and ports throughout Azerbaijan and Georgia.
The company „Trafigura" has representatives in 56 countries and its annual income makes up 120 billion US $. The company actively functions in the Caspian region and is the main provider of energy resources from Turkmenistan. At present the company exports 700,000 metric ton commodities annually and is going to increase this amount up to 2 million metric tons by 2014.
