Today the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili together with his wife attended ceremonial reception dedicated to the 35-year anniversary of the Day of Enthronement of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II. Irakli Garibashvili congratulated the Patriarch on the date so important for all Georgians and spoke about His merits.
" The selfless work undertaken by Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia to uplift our nation spiritually is invaluable. Since the day of his enthronement, an unprecedented number of churches and monasteries have been restored, renovated, and built, and this process has reached an unprecedented magnitude in Georgian history, - stated Irakli Garibashvili. The ceremonial event was attended by representatives of the Government of Georgia, Patriarchate of Georgia and art and sport figures.
