On September 13, 2013 the Government of Georgia conducted a meeting. 24 matters primarily included in the agenda were increased with for the meeting. Out of the total number of matters, 24 issues were approved. The meeting adopted the Resolution on the Activities Necessary for Ensuring Hepatitis Treatment in Prisons. Program against C Hepatitis is now in the final stage. The Government decided to commence state procurement. Companies participating in the procurement undertake to sell medicines to the C Hepatitis positive population, equaling 10,000 persons, for the same price as needed for treatment of prisoners.
Except for that, the Government discussed economic development plans of 7 regions. The plans deal with the main activities to be carried out in 2014-2021 in 7 regions for the purposes of development of the regions.
