"Agreement has been reached on the excise stamping of non-alcoholic beverages and Government of Georgia intends to continue work in the same manner as pursued so far. Hence, it is a positive and commendable decision for businesses" announced Irakli Chikovani, Foreign Affairs Adviser and Press Speaker of the Prime Minister of Georgia.

According to Mr. Chikovani, Prime Minister and Government of Georgia instantly respond to the problems experienced by businesses in the country.

It was a joint address to the Prime Minister of Georgia by producers of non-alcoholic beverages in relation with the issue of excise stamping. Intensive consultations have been held with the engagement of the Ministry of Finance (MOF), Business Ombudsman and representatives of the sector concerned. Agreement has been reached on the Government of Georgia continuing work in the same manner as pursued so far. Hence, it is a positive and commendable decision for businesses" concluded the Foreign Affairs Adviser and Press Speaker of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
