The official visit of Prime Minister of Georgia to federal republic of Germany started on June 1. Irakli Garibashvili visited Berlin as he was invited by the Chancellor of federal republic of Germany Angela Merkel.
On June 2 after the ceremony of official reception the Prime Minister of Georgia met the Chancellor of Germany face-to-face, and then with extended staff. After the meeting Irakli Garibashvili and Chancellor Angela Merkel made statements for media and answered their questions. After the meeting with the Chancellor the Prime Minister of Georgia held the meeting with the President of Bundestag, Norbert Lammert. Within the framework of visit to Germany the Prime Minister of Georgia held meetings with the representatives of "Korber foundation", attended the conference named "Georgia's European way" organized by Konrad Adenauer Foundation. The Prime Minister of Georgia introduced the existing business-environment of Georgia to the representatives of the German Business Sector during the German-Georgian Business Forum. Business forum was organized by the investment agency and it was attended by up to 100 representatives of the German Business-Sector.
At the end of official visit the Prime Minister of Georgia attended the event dedicated to the Special relationship between Germany and Georgia in the sphere of culture. Prime Minister of Georgia together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany and the President of Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation delivered a speech at the event.
The Prime Minister of Georgia was in Germany with the delegation which included Vice Speaker of Parliament Manana Kobakhidze, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Vice-Premier Giorgi Kvirikashvili, State Minister on integration in European and Euro-Atlantic structures Aleksi Petriashvili, Minister of infrastructure and Development Elguja Khokrishvili, Minister of Agriculture Shalva Pipia, Deputy Head of Administration of the Government Nino Kobakhidze.
