Prime Minister of Georgian Irakli Garibashvili visited Israel on 27th of January. Within the visit the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met the president of Israel Shimon Peres, the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman, and minister of internal affairs Gideon Saar. The delegation of Georgia with the guidance of the prime minister participated in the ceremonial of signing the founder memorandum of Georgia-Israel intergovernmental joint economic commission. Within the visit Irakli Garibashvili visited the Holocaust Museum and laid a wreath at the Holocaust victims' memorial located on the mountain of Jerusalem - "Yad Vashem" and participated in a symbolic tree planting ceremony in alley of Jerusalem nations. The delegation of Georgia with the guidance of the prime minister consisted of the minister of foreign affairs Maia Panjikidze, the minister of economic and sustainable development Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the minister of agriculture Shalva Pipia, head of the co-investment fund Giorgi Bachiashvili and head of the investment agency Giorgi Pertaia.
