Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili visited German federal republic on 31st of January. The head of the government of Georgia participated in the opening ceremony of the Munich 50th Security Conference after which he attended the ceremonial reception for the participants of the conference.
On 1st of February the Prime Minister of Georgia delivered a speech at the session: "Global Power and Regional Stability". Irakli Garibashvili informed the participants of the conference about the foreign policy priorities and current reforms of Georgia. Discussion was held about the Euro-Atlantic processes, also Georgia's expectation in the Euro-Atlantic processes.
Besides his speech at the session, within the frames of the Munich Safety Conference, the Prime Minister
Kissinger of Georgia held a number of bilateral meetings. The Prime Minister met U.S. Senator John McCain, the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki - moon, the OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, United States Atlantic Council President and Executive Director Frederick Kempe, U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, Congressman Michael Turner, Prime Minister of Serbia Ivica dachich, Prime Minister of Slovenia - Alenka Bratusek, President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev, Foreign Minister of Germany Frank McCainWalter Steinmeier, Foreign Minister of Slovakia Miroslav Lekic, Henry Kissinger, Ulrich Grill.
During the visit to Munich, the Prime Minister gave an interview to the German weekly magazine FOCUS, as well as to the Media Holding ZDF.
Delegation of Georgia, led by the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili left the Federal Republic of Germany on February 2. The Delegation also included the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maia Panjikidze and Ministry of Defense Irakli Alasania.
