Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili visited the Kingdom of Belgium on 3-5 February. Within the visit the head of the government Georgia met the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, the president of European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and afterwards the parties made a joint statement for the media.
The prime minister of Georgia met the European Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmstrom,
European Commissioner for energy Gunther Oettinger. After the meeting with the president of the European council Herman Van Rompuy the prime minister of Georgia and the president of the European council made statements for the media.
Within the visit there was a meeting with the senior representative of the EU for foreign policy and security Catherine Ashton. Within the visit to the kingdom of Belgium the prime minister of Georgia met 
the NATO secretary general Anders Fogh Rasmussen and made a statement for the media with him.
Irakli Garibashvili also attended the meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission, delivered a speech at the conference of Egmont University and attended the working dinner with the EU institution representatives. Besides the important meetings in the kingdom of Belgium the Prime Minister of Georgia gave interview to foreign media outlets - BBC, French international broadcasting Television FRANCE 24, also to REUTERS, EURONEWS, WSJ and LE MONDE.
