On January 10, 2013, a meeting session of the government was held. Twenty-nine issues on the agenda were discussed and approved at the meeting. Before the meeting session of the government, Prime Minister commented on the emotions around the law on so-called thieves in law and emphasized that the position of the government is unwavering and that the approach to the criminal world will not be reconsidered. In addition, Irakli Garibashvili inquired into planned amendments to the Tax Code. He urged the members of the government to greater coordination and consensus on various issues before submitting the draft law.
At today's meeting of the government, a draft of the governmental decree was approved, by authority of which the government will allocate 135 million GEL for the implementation of regional infrastructure projects. This amount will be used to finance the implementation of regional projects and programs.
