On January 27, 2014, government meeting session was held. Today's session discussed 32 issues on the agenda, one issue was added, 32 issues were approved, and one issue was canceled.
Prior to the meeting, Prime Minister spoke about two important issues to be discussed at the government session. One is related to the rule of distribution of the state auto park and the classification and procurement or replacement of office cars. As Irakli Garibashvili pointed out, to Chancellery of the Government was put in charge of this issue during Bidzina Ivanishvili's premiership. Today this malignant practice introduced by the previous government will come to an end.
Prime Minister also discussed the bill initiated by the Ministry of Reconciliation and Civil Equality. The issue concerns the approval of "the rules for the implementation of events related to partial compensation for the damage caused by the Soviet totalitarian regime to the religious associations in Georgia". Prime Minister pointed out that the issue of religious minorities is often used for political speculations. A number of positive steps regarding religious minorities have been taken under the leadership of the new government, including today's decision.
