"It was terrible and shocking to see the photos of Zurab Zhvania and Raul Usupov death for me,"- stated Irakli Garibashvili, the prime minister of Georgia.
Prime Minister spoke about the photos shared by the internet on the government session yesterday. As Irakli Garibashvili says, he understands, how difficult is to see those photos by Zurab Zhvania's family. According to prime minister, for years, there was an opinion that dead Zurab Zhvania was found in very obscure conditions, speculations were taking place and it is going on like that. As Garibashvili says, the investigation goes very intensively and hopes; that a prosecutor's office will implement an effective investigation and what happened in reality will be clear very soon.
"Even with naked eye, it is clear that in the disseminated photos there are many doubtful conditions, even the fact, that Zurab Zhvania has very serious injuries in the area of head. As I was informed, those injuries and bruised were occurred when he was alive. The same with the body of Raul Usupov, which was found in very doubtful situation. His cloths are very questionable. I think this case need not any extra speculations, the prosecutors' office has its plan. I hope that they will finish the investigation very soon. I know that the negotiations are conducted with international expert bureaus, to conduct exhumation of the bodies in agreement with the families. Let's wait, very soon society and all of us will know truth how Zurab Zhvania and Raul Usupov died," - said Prime Minister of Georgia.
The Cabinet of Ministers discussed 22 issues, foreseen by the agenda, at the Government Session.
The Government has approved a draft resolution presented by the Ministry of Education, according to which school age is determined as 6 years. Those children, who were studying in the preparatory class in the current year and were going to enter to school in the age of 5, will not have any restrictions. Also, those children, who become 6 years old until January 1, 2015, will be enrolled in the first class.
The issue of disbursement of 49 951 407 GEL was approved for the rural support program at the government session today.
Also, the government decided that the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure will reconstruct the 4 main cable ways in Chiatura.
Since 60-70's of the previous century the capital repair works of the cable ways have not been carried out. According to the preliminary evaluation by French company Pomagalski S.A., the estimated cost of the project is 13 000 000 Euros.
2-year moratorium of Tbilisi Railway Bypass will be announced. During this period, qualified design-engineering study of Tbilisi Railway Bypass will be carried out.
Ministry of Culture presented the issue of funding the "Arts Charitable Foundation" at the Government Session today.
Within the frameworks of the project, various art circles are operated for densely populated IDP children. Approximately 1000 children are enrolled and 76 IDP teachers are employed in the program.
