On April 4, 2014 Government meeting was held at the Chancellery of Government of Georgia. The Cabinet of Ministers discussed 26 issues of the agenda. 26 issues were approved.
The government approved the amendments to the Criminal Code and the Law on Combating Trafficking, which were presented by the Ministry of Justice. In addition, on initiative of the Ministry of Health, five days will be given to the women; willing abortion, for thinking instead of 3 days.
The Ministry of Culture presented draft amendments to the law to today's session, according to which, several monuments in Mtskheta and Mother Tongue methodology by Gogebashvili will be awarded the status of monuments.
The government also approved the issue of reorganization the Akhaltsikhe University. As a result of the amendments, the doctoral program will be added to the teaching university and it will be transferred to university. The government also approved the strategic project for human rights for 2014-2020, which was presented by Tamar Chugoshvili at the session.
