The Government meeting was held at the State Administration of Georgia. The Cabinet of Ministers discussed 26 issues according to the agenda, 3 issues were postponed for additional consideration, 4 issues were added and 27 issues were approved.
The Government has approved a draft, submitted by the Ministry of Interior Affairs, which implies a new mechanism for imposing fines. Particularly, in the case of non-payment of fine, a person shall be imposed a double fine, no more than 500 GEL.
According to the draft ordinance, presented by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, 8 rural clinics will be established in various municipalities of Georgia during the current year. 250 thousand GELs will be spent on the project.
The Government also approved the service procurement rules for rural water supply in Gori and Kareli Municipalities. As a result, water supply issue will be solved for population in the villages, located at the dividing line - Didi Khurvaleti, Gugutiantkari, Koshka, Ditsi, Mereti and Zardiantkari, in Khashuri Municipality - Tsaghvi, in Kareli Municipality - Atotsi and Krolevi.
The Minister of Healthcare presented the project, related to the prevention of rabies in 2014-2018, at today's meeting. The project provides vaccination for domestic animals, as well as for the stray animals and animals in shelters and will be funded from 2015.
