We have reached the critical point when the need to undertake joint efforts against climate change is equally as important as the fight against terrorism and other evils - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili is quoted as saying when commenting on the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) held in Paris.
According to the Prime Minister, Georgia is determined to undertake all necessary actions and reforms in this direction.
"Regrettably, many people are still unaware of the importance of the issues discussed today by the world leaders, I mean global warming and climatic conditions. People used to ignore these issues in the course of many centuries. Today I had the opportunity to meet the heads of state and government of many countries. Georgia's participation in the conferences of such level is highly important" - Irakli Garibashvili said.
