Meeting of the Economic Council chaired by the Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili was held at the Administration of the Government. The ways of promoting the local production was discussed at the meeting.

The members of the Council welcomed the idea a localization of locomotives, which foresees the local production of locomotives. It was mentioned that the competition on the procurement of locomotives announced by JSC "Georgian Railways" will end on December 28.
