Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met the chair of GeoSteel LLC Hardeep Singh and president of Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry Jemal Inaishvili. Investment environment in Georgia was discussed at the meeting. GeoSteel LLC plans to increase investments in the industry. According to the chair of the company, different investment projects will be implemented in Georgia in the fields such as hydropower industry and production of ferroalloys. It is also planned to build international logistical centre.
According to Prime Minister, the main target of the Government of Georgia is to create favorable and competitive environment for investors. It was mentioned at the meeting that group of Asian investors will visit Georgia at the beginning of the next year.
GeoSteel LLC is one of the largest direct foreign industrial investments in Georgia. It is a joint venture of JSW, the largest India's business conglomerate.
