Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili chaired a recent government session, during which he discussed plans to issue a new public opinion survey targeted at gradually finding a solution to vehicular failure problems.

The Prime Minister stated that the problem is an important issue because it affects the health of people and children.

"We may upset one person but save the lives of 20 people. I think there is a possibility of conducting the public opinion survey and asking people what they prefer. Those, who have no catalysts shall bear the some costs. We may ask the companies to allow payment installments but that needs to be settled immediately. This is a very difficult issue that many people are worried about," stated Prime Minister Garibashvili.

The Prime Minister said that car insurance measures and compulsory technical inspections will be introduced step by step and the changes will be carried out gradually. The plans will be presented to the public in the near future.

He continued, "Before then, I suggest we conduct a survey and understand public concern about this issue. I think this is problematic to everybody. The exhaust is one of the main causes of tumors and other diseases."
