A government meeting chaired by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili was held at the Government Administration. The Ministers discussed 17 issues on the agenda.

By decision of the government, ownership right over homes was transferred to 91 refugee families. According to Georgian Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees Sozar Subari, the Programme is fully operational. "The pledge that 10 thousand homes will be transferred to refugees by 1 September will be fulfilled in a timely manner" - Sozar Subari said.

At the initiative of the Prime Minister, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism, 1800 military veterans who served during World War II will receive one-time lump-sum payment of GEL 1000, whereas 500 families who lost their breadwinners to the war will be paid GEL 500. The decision was approved at today's government meeting. According to Head of Government Administration Maia Tskitishvili, World War II veterans under the previous government used to receive GEL 200 as a financial aid, which the current government increased up to GEL 400.
