The Prime Ministers of Georgia and Romania made joint statements for the press.

"Today Georgia is actively cooperating with the European Union within the framework of the Association Agreement. My wish for Prime Minister Garibashvili is to be the first Georgian Prime Minister to sign a similar agreement with NATO," Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta stated at the joint briefing held together with his Georgian counterpart.

As part of his state visit, the Prime Minister of Georgia also met with President of the Senate Calin Popescu-Tariceanu and President of the Chamber of Deputies Valeriu Stefan Zgonea.
