Under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the consecutive session of the Cabinet was held at the Administration of the Government. The Cabinet discussed the 32 issues on the agenda.
The government has approved a special rule concerning the privatization process of state-owned property, which was elaborated by the Ministry of Economy. New regulation is supposed to solve long-term conundrum for a lot of people who experienced difficulties in the process purchasing the property from the state. Persons, who have acquired state-owned property prior to June 21, 2010 (i.e. before the Law on State Property entered into force) and have paid the 80-percent of the overall costs (in case of real estate), or a 50-percent of the overall cost (in case of acquisition of agricultural land), but have violated the timeframe of paying the amount specified in the contract, will be able to obtain a certificate of ownership and register their purchased property.

Federal Republic of Germany will allocate loan in an amount of about EUR 135 million and a grant in an amount of EUR 5 million to the Government of Georgia. These funds will be used for investment projects in the areas of energy, infrastructure and agriculture. In addition priority areas, such as vocational education, small and medium business development, metrology, environmental protection and strengthening of local self-government will also be funded. Also, the Board of Executive Directors of the World Bank has approved loan to the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in an amount of 40 million USD for the project of national innovation ecosystem. The project will support the Government's strategy concerning construction of a competitive and innovative economy that will be focused on future.
Within the frames of the project innovation centers will be opened in towns and villages, where the population will obtain a variety of professions in the IT field (programming, design, entrepreneur skills, microelectronics), which will contribute to the business and technological development.

Project awards grants to innovative and high-tech businesses in the regions and training of qualified specialists in the innovation and technology field will be commenced.
According to the government, gasification of Phoka and Gandza will be conducted. Overall 600 families will be provided with natural gas. Works are performed by the Gas Transportation Company of Georgia.
The Cabinet also approved the Concept on active labor market policy and its implementation Action Plan for 2016-2018. Upon the successful implementation of the document, population will have access to a wide range of employment services. The resolution aims to elaborate comprehensive strategy on active labor market policies, to address the issues such as labor integration, productive employment and income generation capacity building.
Furthermore, the Rule on Amount and Issuing of Monetary Incentives to the Patients having Georgian Nationality that are subjected to Anti-tuberculosis Treatment Regime was also amended. Namely it envisages issuance of monetary incentives to 225 patients having drug-resistant forms of TB in 2016, whereas in 2015 only 150 patients with drug-resistant form of tuberculosis were issued said support.

The government also approved State Program aimed at Fostering of Agricultural Cooperatives Producing Milk. The cost of which is 360 000 GEL. Livestock agricultural cooperatives will be able to organize a collecting point of dairy and provide large number of high-quality milk to the milk processing enterprises. They will also be enabled to adapt themselves to engage in milk and cheese production. This will allow them to generate additional income.
The Regulation on the Placement, Assessment of Compliance with the Technical requirements, and Safe Exploitation of Balloon Powered Vehicles is also being amended to ensure the safe operation of the said vehicles and envisages gradual introduction of relevant technical regulations, including their mandatory inspection. According to the Resolution, the first phase of a mandatory inspection will be held no later than January 1, 2017.
The government also approved the draft Contract between the Transport Roads Department of Georgia and Kocks Consult GmbH, Consulting (Germany). Respective document provides wir rehabilitation of a national significance road sections, including, those of Khidistavi-Atheni-Boshura; Tianeti-Akhmeta-Kvareli-Ninigori; Chrebalo-Nikortsminda and Zhinvali-Barisakho-Shatili.
