Session of the Cabinet of ministers was conducted at the Administration of the Government under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili. The Cabinet discussed 29 issues placed on the agenda. 8 issues were added.

The Government approved the draft Resolution on the Agreement between "Gazprom Export" LLC and "Georgian Gas Transportation Company" LLC.

Pursuant to the document, preexisting provisions of the contract will remain in force. Namely, Georgia will obtain 10% of the gas transited to Armenia. The contract will remain in force till December 31, 2016.

The Government approved the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy and "Geo Power, LLC", which prescribes the rules of the exploration of technical-economic aspects, construction and operation of "Dzegvihess" in the region of Mtskheta-Mtianeti, village Dzegvi.

Envisaged capacity of "Dzegvi Hess" is 15.7 megawatts and estimated investment worth is 24 million USD.

Pursuant to the decision that Cabinet of Ministers, the amendment was introduced to the Decree N 476 of September 14, 2015 on the Rule of Defining the Financial Normative and Relevant Standard Voucher allocated for the each High School Student. Pursuant to the provisions of amended decree, the average wage of the teachers will be 700 GEL starting from April 2016. 3-step growth of the base wage has been conducted and the salary of the teachers increased by 67%. The state has developed new system that envisages improvement of the teachers' qualifications, career development and improvement of the students' outcomes.

The Government has also approved the "Technical Regulation on Nuts", which sets forth the provisions overseeing export-import, labeling and quality-check of the product. The regulation will protect the reputation of Georgian nut on the EU market and will ensure high standard of imported and exported nut.

The Government also amended the "Technical Regulation on the Medical Activity of High Threat", pursuant to which the quality and safety of cornea transplantation within the frames of ophthalmologic service will be improved.
