The head of the Government outlined the importance of the clear support for our country, its territorial integrity and its foreign policy aspirations, expressed by the Vice President of the United States - the primary strategic partner of Georgia.
"On behalf of the people of Georgia and each of us, I would like to thank the US Vice President in person and the whole US administration for this loud support. I would like to proudly indicate that each of the three areas prioritized by our team since coming to power, including security and stability, democracy and human rights protection, alongside with economic development that shall ultimately guarantee the prosperity of our citizens, has been appraised very highly. Such assessment entails even higher degree of responsibility and inspires us to lead the country to an ultimate peaceful unification. It also inspires us to implement our priorities in a consistent manner thus ensuring prosperity for our country," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.

According to the Prime Minister, clear and loud support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia expressed by the US Vice President from a high tribune is also very important.

"By all means, this also implies a high degree of responsibility that causes us to spare no effort to strengthen our nation and find peaceful solutions to the challenges currently facing our country. Mr. Vice President also discussed the prospect of deepening our economic ties. It is particularly noteworthy that the US finds Georgia increasingly interesting to use as a starting point for penetrating the regional economy. During this visit the large US-based company SSA Marine and Anaklia Development Consortium signed an important agreement that brings the company to Georgia not only as a new operator of the port, but also as an investor. Of course, we have to continue our efforts in this direction to ensure that maximum number of western companies are represented in Georgia," - Giorgi Kvirikashvili noted.
