I would like to congratulate each of you on this day that marks the greatest victory attained by Georgians - Didgoroba. This day is a symbol of unity and strength of our country - stated Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili during the "Didgoroba 2017" celebrations held at Didgori Valley.

Prime Minister attended the exhibition of agricultural products and handmade items as well as the martial arts performance.

"First of all, this victory was attained by David Aghmashenebeli as a result of targeted and consistent work, his wisdom and naturally, bravery. As Georgians, we shall remember at all times that the strength of Georgia depends on our unity. This is why this date is important. I wish our country strength and unity. We will unite and Georgia will naturally be stronger. We will stop chanting "Georgia was once great", we will chant that Georgia is great, strong and united", - the Prime Minister said.

A Kipchak from Kazakhstan, the President of Sagadat Nurgambetov Fund Sapar Iskakov also attended the ceremony and congratulated Georgian people on this holiday. He also indicated that together with Georgians, this holiday also belongs to the Kipchaks, who fought for freedom alongside Georgians.

Prime Minister thanked him for the visit. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Didgori also represents a symbol of friendship between Kazakh and Georgian people.

Members of the Cabinet of Ministers also attended the Didgoroba celebrations.
