The Prime Minister of Georgia expresses his special gratitude to the pilots and flight crews engaged in the recent firefighting operations for several days. The Prime Minister visited the crews at their station and met with the pilots and flight crews from the relevant Georgian, Azerbaijani, Turkish, and Belorussian agencies. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the joint fight against the natural disaster has been the most vivid demonstration of humane and friendly relations and partnership.
The Georgian Interior Ministry Border Police's two helicopters, one and two land operations helicopters dispatched by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations and Border Police, respectively, also two helicopters and one airplane sent by Turkey's Wildfire Service, and one helicopter of Belarus' Ministry for Emergency Situations immediately responded to the wildfire in Georgia.
