Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili held a meeting today with the firefighters/rescuers from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations and thanked them for their contribution and assistance in the recent firefighting operations. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Azerbaijan was the first to respond by dispatching helicopters to the disaster area, which is deeply appreciated. The Prime Minister thanked Azerbaijan's President, Prime Minister, Government, and people for their assistance. One two land operations helicopters dispatched by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations and Border Police, respectively, along with 12 fire trucks, seven units of special equipment, and 90 firefighters/rescuers were engaged in the firefighting operations in the Borjomi Gorge.
