Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited the Armenian firefighters/rescuers stationed in the Borjomi Gorge. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, they arrived in Georgia at a critical moment for the country and made a tremendous contribution to the fight against the recent natural disaster.

"Together with our forces, you have fought against this wildfire selflessly and successfully. I would like to thank you for your brotherly aid. We deeply appreciate you," the Prime Minister stated. Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked the Armenian people, President, and Prime Minister.
The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations dispatched four units of off-road firefighting/rescue machinery, nine units of firefighting/rescue vehicles, and 65 firefighters/rescuers to provide assistance in the recent firefighting operations.
