An attempt to continue the policy of legitimizing the regions taken away from Georgia by force, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, at today's Government meeting, commented on the recent statements about senior Russian officials' visit to Georgia's occupied regions.

The Prime Minister spoke of the importance of resolving the conflict with Russia in a peaceful and constructive manner, with support from strategic partners.

"Of course, we must do everything in our power to resolve our conflict with Russia in a peaceful and constructive manner, politically, with support from our international strategic partners, to ensure reconciliation between our populations living on either side of the occupation lines and to unite our country, of course. This is our primary task, and none of us doubts-and, needless to say, I personally have no doubt-that we will succeed," Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.
